Did you summit Everest

I notice that you have several pics on Everest from high on the mountain. How high did you get?

Hi Scott,



I've made two attempts on Everest, the first in 2001 when I got to 7800m before succumbing to exhaustion and a chest infection.

My second attempt was in the spring of this year (2004), having first summited Pumori. I reached 7600m twice but was forced to turn around because of bad weather.



Both attempts were from North (Tibet) side.



Third time lucky perhaps!!!

Thanks for posting these. It give some perspective to mountain. Any route information would be helpful even if only to 7,800 metres. Good luck in the future. Cheers William
