the route is almost vertical:)
You did a great job both for climbing it at 65 and for this precious marks.

Actually, it was two days before I turned 66 :) And I was (and I still am :)) really happy as I had been far from sure I was going to make it. The same goes for what I did three weeks later and that was even more demanding. I didn't have my trekking poles with me and to my surprise my joints didn't hurt as much as usual! Considering what my doctors have been saying (based on x-rays) for decades, it seems like a miracle.
