Black Thumb, Big Horn, Little... [ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Black Thumb, Big Horn, Little...
Black Thumb, Big Horn, Little Big Horn, and Little Horn from the ESE on June 26, 2005. Stefan Feller and Jeremy Goins are heading up to the gully where Martin and I put in steps the day before. I was on my way to Gilbert Peak. I got back to this spot just as they were finishing up the climb. Due to the low snow year in the winter of 2005, the basin was looking like it ordinarily would in July. If you don't like the thought of climbing up steep snow to 50 degrees you would do best to wait until late July or later to do your ascent.
