Three popular routes on the First Flatiron. The Direct East Face (5.6, red) starts from the lowest point on the rock. Fandango (5.5, green) follows a dihedral and roof system south of the Direct route while the North Arete route (5.4, yellow) gains the ridgeline early and follows it to the summit. Like most Flatiron climbs, a great deal of creativity is possible when it comes to the exact route climbed.
