View west along the chasm. The orange dot is the first crossing (left to right). The blue dot is the second crossing (right to left). The second crossing is the crux of the climb...supposedly...I found it to be easy. I had never seen a picture before hand and had a completely different idea of it. The crossing has been described as a notch. It's not a notch in the usual sense. July 2, 2005.
