GREAT !!!
Monte Rosa is the biggest massive of the Alps ; you can see it from all over pianura padana and it seem like a huge and immens bastion . Also the location is in a crucial point of the Alps chain , where the highest Pennine oriented from W to E , turn to North .
For these and other reasons I consider Monte Rosa as : " La Montagna Madre delle Alpi " -> tr. The mountain Mother of the Alps .

... le montagne mi sembrano con la stessa prospettiva da cui le guardo tutte le mattine andando al lavoro sul treno che va da como a milano.....
più precisamente nel tratto venendo da como e andando a milano dopo lomazzo dalle parti della curva di caslino al piano.....
