Getting There

It is difficult to get there by public transport.
The only possibility is by city train from Stuttgart to Freiberg/Neckar (line S4) and there by bus to Hessigheim. But this needs more than 1 hour and the bus doesn´t drive very often at the day.

By car you drive the autobahn A 81 Stuttgart - Heilbronn. You leave the gateway Mundelsheim and drive from Mundelsheim to Hessigheim.
Drive through Hessigheim till the end. Then on the right side you see a buildung of the vintager association. There you can park.
From the parking place you hike in 15 minutes to the Hessigheimer Felsengärten.

Red Tape

There are some rocks which are prohibited.
Hold on it! Don´t try to climb there because these rocks are very dangerous of big rockfall!
Climbing is not allowed at the side falling down to Neckar! Rockfall!

The area is a integral nature reserve and it was a hard and long struggle to climb there. So respect the prohibition or maybe the complete area will be closed for climbers again!!!
