Thornton Peak (6,935 ft)--Mt.... [ Sizes: Orig | Small | Thumb ]
Thornton Peak (6,935 ft)--Mt....
Thornton Peak (6,935 ft)--Mt. Triumph's little brother to the south--as seen from Triumph's Northeast Ridge on Sept. 27, 2003. The route to/from the South Ridge Route of Triumph is via the slabby diagonal ledge leading up to the low-pont in the ridge at right. You can see the terrible condition of the glacier. This is what you'd have to deal with in late season if going that way.
