This was just one of many tree seedlings which the Forest Service had planted in the area immediately around the Glen Lake Trailhead. After the fire which ravished the area last year (2006), I'm sure the Forest Service is doing its best to put a "good face" on their recovery efforts. Given how Congress funds the Forest Service (NOT), this is no surprise. © Mike Hoyt, 27jul07.
