"Paintbrush Peak" [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
"Paintbrush Peak"
Taken from the base of the snowfield after glissading down it following my climb of the peak. WARNING: Make sure you really know what you are doing before glissading here; it is steep enough to get you going VERY fast VERY quickly.

The ridge I climbed is the one on the right; I found and enjoyed some Class 4 and 5 spots, but it can be kept at Class 2. The ridge on the left is Class 2, but the rock looks loose enough to be really annoying.

After five or six more snowstorms, this slope

I never really looked at it that way; thanks for pointing that out and giving it a new look for me!
