This is the view roughly...
This is the view roughly northward from the camp at the 5,400-ft saddle on Shannon Ridge. A climber's trail continues on at left across the boulders and snow finger, rounds the corner below the buttress, and then climbs up onto the névé of the southern extremity of the Sulphide Glacier. The summit pyramid is not actually visible in this photo. Oct. 2, 1999.
