Yes , this is in Arizona.

The Mormon Mountain Trail (#58) leads to the 8,449' summit of Mormon
Mountain west of the lake. Mormon Mountain (seen here) lies within a forest of Ponderosa pine, mixed conifers and aspen. At a number of places along
the route, openings in the forest canopy provide long distance views of
600-acre Mormon Lake and the grassy flats and forest-covered hills that surround it.

In drought years, Mormon Lake soon becomes "Mormon Meadow." At the
viewpoint where I took this photo, there's also a view of the San
Francisco Peaks 25+ miles to the north.

Here's a shot from this same viewpoint in late winter.

Hasn't voted

, but a year before the same view had dust blowing across the dried out lake bed.

	Hasn't voted	Right on! It "blows me away" how one year can be so different from the next. Well, now it's time for me to throw a Jimmy Buffett CD into the player. Have a good 'un, and take care out there.
