Matijevic Brijeg (1611m) obscures larger part of sea views from Satorina (1624m), highest peak of Mid Velebit and photo point on this shot. Between them is beautiful undulating area of beech groves, meadows and funnel shaped depressions. Kind of looks romantic

Has that look of being a place to walk with your significant other to a nice viewpoint.

Exactly Paul, this is point that I'm emphasizing on this page. This is gentlest part of Velebit where you wish more to lie in grass than to walk :-) Yet, 5h of hard ascending are needed to get here from the coast.
