Rappelling off the north face...
Rappelling off the north face of the Cobra Turret. Kris is still smiling here because he hasn't yet found out that his ropes are going to come up 10 feet short of the next anchor, at a hanging belay.

When I could see that the ropes were short of the anchor I pulled them up and tied a figure 8 on a bight at the tend of each rope. I then rapelled right to the ends, and chained together every runner, draw, etc. I had. Even some wired stoppers as i recall. I was able to clip myself to the end of this mess, get off rapell and batman down to the anchor.
