The upper west slopes of...
The upper west slopes of Maude. It was strange to come across grass this high up (~9,000 ft) but the terrain was perfect for it. Out on the horizon are Clark Mountain and Buck Mountain. In the mid-ground is Phelps Ridge. Aug. 22, 1999.
