Juan Lira on the log crossing of the Stillaguamish River on April 25, 2004. The first 20 feet or so by the roots is over water that's at least 15 feet deep! Hard to walk across when that's what you face if you should fall off. This log is located straight downhill from the road about 60 paces uphill (east) of milepost 27.

Hasn't voted | This is the new log put into place by dear Mother Nature this year. The old log was a little downstream, I believe.
I was just noticing that this log was obviously rafted into position instead of it simply falling off of the opposite bank. This is evidenced by the many broken branch stubs close to the camera.
