Hasn't voted | Exactly, there's always one - at least :) How do you say it in Hungarian?
It seems Roşiile derives from Roşu=Red. I wonder if it refers to the colour of some rocks nearby (Pontul Roşu) or algae in the water.
Unlike in the Tatras - no black tarns - but there's one Green (Verde) - just beyond Slivei Ridge. | | Posted May 31, 2009 3:35 am |

Voted 10/10 | "Hosszú-tó" - probably for this one it wasn't used at all - back in those times the Tatras exerted too strong "magnetic field" for Hungarians to focus on the Southern Carpathians. | | Posted May 31, 2009 7:11 am |

Hasn't voted | I was just thinking which mts are actually dearest to Budapest dwellers: Tatra, Radna or Retezat? | | Posted May 31, 2009 11:24 am |

Voted 10/10 | Well, I can't speak on behalf of all :)
As for me, I admire the Tatras but have a special longing for Transylvania, whichever part of it. | | Posted May 31, 2009 1:55 pm |
