Langer-Ruffneck Ridge Traverse

Langer-Ruffneck Ridge Traverse

Page Type Page Type: Album
Additional Information Image Type(s): Hiking

Pictures from July 3rd backpack trip and August 1st traverse of Ruffneck to Langer Peaks (9.3 miles, 4157 ft gain Roundtrip). The trail to the summit of Ruffneck is a great one and I trail ran it. I then descended down the steep north chute and followed the ridge to Langer. The Ridge contains many ups and downs with some easy Class 4 towers on solid rocks that can be bypassed. The summit of Langer has a mailbox with lots of signatures, including the Langers.

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
