San Juan Photos
On the way down to Texas we decided to spend one night at the Wyman Inn in Silverton. On the way there we drove through Ouray on the Million Dollar Highway (CO-550), and before checking in for the night we had a picnic dinner at Molas Lake. After a nice blueberry pancake breakfast the next morning, we hiked to upper Ice Lake Basin. It was the toughest hike I've carried Matthew up so far (7 miles roundtrip, 2500 feet elevation gain), but the views were worth it, and Ice Lake is really as bright blue as the pictures make it look.I put together a slideshow of my pictures here.
