Just about! I got this a day or 2 before the climb. It's a 60m which was useful for combining pitches and the rappel off of Solar Slab. Now I'm just waiting till I find out that a 70m would be really useful ;-)

I told John that it would be best if we climbed on a 60m rope, but for some reason he was reluctant to climb on one of my old, mangled ones ;-)

You mean the one that's ready to fall apart and that you don't use anymore because you free solo all the time? Yes, I do value my life a little more than the price of a new rope ;-)

Though looking back now, your rope would have been fine. I have to have more faith ;-)

I kid you about the new rope but IMO.....new rope=good!

I just got a new 60m one and it's yellow and orange and could pass as construction safety equipment it's so damn bright!
