A view of the beginning of the West Ridge completion to the summit. The easiest climbing forces one to the right (south) side of the ridge. There is a gully/ramp that goes along the buttress behind the trees at lower right. That gully begins the route. The gully tops out at some scrub pine snags. Sept. 21, 2004.
