Rock Glacier

I do not like to see the mountains so dry. That I why I used to go to the Alborz Mountains in June. I had seen the north face of Koloon Bastak sevral times but it was always totally covered by snow. I did not know that a rock glacier existed there.

As far as the snow cover is concerned, this year is the worst ever. Even the south face of Tochal was totally dry by mid July which was unprecedented. The only good thing about going to the mountains in late summer is the fact that you can clearly see the glaciers, and see how big they are.
