The gold plated chedi of Wat Phra That Doi Suthep seen from the courtyard on a crowded day, with remains from the Buddha inside. On sunny days the light can be seen reflecting off the chedi throughout Chiang Mai. Wat Phra That Doi Suthep has been a place of worship since the monument was first established in 1383.
