I love the idea of skiing in April! Here in Washington/Oregon the earlier is better for skiing...in my mind! I grew up in Montana where the snow was dry like the area in your report..great report and photos make me dream again...have a great new year and keep taking those wonderful photos and write some more stuff to enjoy next year, Ok! Maybe you should write a book..i did.

I´m planning some more stuff but time is short before Christmas, too much to do in work.
There will be a trip report of the Große Reibn in the Berchtesgadener Alps, a weekend ski trip - you can see the pictures. And there will be some trip reports about Sierra Nevada / California adventures of this summer.
