Western Diamondback Rattlesnake (Crotalus atrox) near the Robledo Range by Radium Springs, New Mexico. The Western Diamondback is the largest western rattlesnake and is considered one of the most dangerous. As seen in this picture, they will usually stand their ground when threatened.
