When is that stuff coming down?

When is that stuff coming down?

This is the southwest face of Ranrapalca, seen from high on Vallunaraju. It looks like a massive avalanche will be happening at some point. Impossible to say when it goes, but until it does, I don't want to be anywhere near that face! Mind you, the normal route (D) is on the other side of the mountain. 14 June 2011.
