Getting busy right awayI arrived in Huaraz by night bus from Lima on the 12th of June. After making some enquiries and doing a bit of shopping, I left the next day for my first climb in the Cordillera Blanca. I had choosen Vallunaraju. It's a beautiful mountain, visible from Huaraz, and since it's climbed often, I figured there would be a good trail. On the glacier, sure enough, there was. In fact, I counted 10 other climbers on the glacier.
