White and Red Mountain Heather

Both Red Heather and White Heather shown here. I have had a hard time finding White Heater, the Red seems more common. Maybe I'm just not in the right areas. I found this on the slopes above Winnemucca Lake.

Location

Prevalent also in Northern Yosemite, above Twin Lakes around the Sawtooth range.
