Will Lou make it across?

Well, yes. He did every time. I took maybe 5 of these pics which means he jumped this crevasse at least 5 times. This shot is a scan from a slide photo, Kodakcrome ASA 25 film. (Lou is Lou Whitaker)

	Hasn't voted	Indeed, that is a good book. He and his brother Jim are twin and hard to tell apart. Jim came up to camp muir while our group was there and talked about his Everest climb, a great evening.

	Hasn't voted	Hi, thanks for the comment and yes, he really did that jump 5 times. Like a broad jumper in a way but the lower lip was enough lower that he made it effortlessly. It was a great experience for me to be there and witness that effort on his part.
