Actually ..In this picture, I'm the KID, my niece is
the GROWN-UP, and the "rodent" is a metaphor
for God.

Pleasant memories linger along the South Willow Lake trail, as I stop at
9,400 ft to show my niece how to change the batteries in a digital camera.
At this point in the demonstration, I usually end up DROPPING the batteries
on the ground, and they end up in a rodent hole so far from civilization
that nobody cares about them anyway ... except maybe for the rodent.
