I snapped this photo of a Wolf Spider at around sunrise during our ascent of Black Mesa. He was lying mostly dormant waiting for the warmth of the sun. Photo taken September 28, 2008.

Thanks for the vote. Actually, I was hoping to see him move around a bit but I didn't want to disturb him. I'm a strong believer in observing wildlife from a distance so as not to cause them undue stress.
