OAK/PINE Forest of central Arizona. The oak is Quercus gambelii of the Beech Family. The evergreens are Pinus ponderosa. (JUST A LAZY DAY ON WOODS CANYON LAKE!) October 15, 2007

for your NICE comment. This lake ... it FREEZES in the winter. You have to REALIZE:
Arizona is a very "varied" state. It's topography, I mean. Thanks also, for sharing!.... I LOVE your photos!

This is a fine lake in central Arizona. In a few more months, it will freeze to solid ice!

Pleasant scene framed with oak leaves

This is not what first comes to mind when imagining Arizona, but it's a great view of a mountain pond!
