Yellowstone NP - Gibbon Falls

Yellowstone NP - Gibbon Falls Almost everyone drives up to the overlook to see these falls but some of the best views are actually from the roadside below the falls. Gibbon Falls, located on the Gibbon River is about midway between Norris Geyser Basin and Madison Junction.  The falls are situated where the Gibbon River falls off the Northern escarpment into the Yellowstone Caldera. The falls tumble about 80 feet in a gradual descent.
