Voted 10/10 | The alpenglow, the steepness, the snow, the cloud bank all come together here. Looks like a great climb! | | Posted Nov 24, 2009 10:52 pm |
| mills | Yes! Really beautiful ! | |
Hasn't voted | Thanks Noondueler, the Zinalrothorn is a magnificent mountain, the climbing after the Gable notch from the Biner Slabs to the summit is fantastic, a very worthwhile route at a steady grade of AD- | | Posted Nov 25, 2009 11:46 am |

Voted 10/10 | Somehow I missed this one until now, great photo! When I climbed Zinalrothorn this summer it was in a thick fog and I couldn't see anything. I summitted before 7am and an electrical storm began two minutes later! Thanks for posting. It shows the route very well. | | Posted Dec 4, 2009 10:31 am |

Hasn't voted | Thanhs Sarah, It was our second attempt, dwarfed by knee deep snow on the first day snowed lots !
Second day was perfect, you made really good time to be on the summit for 7am, what time did you leave the hut ?

Voted 10/10 | We left the hut about 3:30. The hutkeeper changed the wake-up time from 4am to 3am because of the forecast for bad weather coming in late morning. | | Posted Dec 4, 2009 12:30 pm |
