Zygmunt Andrzej Heinrich, Kazimierz Olech and Andrzej Czok

Zygmunt Andrzej Heinrich, Kazimierz Olech and Andrzej Czok rest in base camp during the 1980 spring expedition to Mount Everest. On 21 January 1985 Jerzy Kukuczka and Andrzej Czok made the first winter ascent of Dhaulagiri via the normal route. Maciej Pawlikowski and Maciej Berbeka made the first winter ascent of Cho Oyu (8188 m / 26,864 ft) (a new route via the SE Pillar) on 12 February 1985 (repeated three days later by Zygmunt Andrzej Heinrich and Jerzy Kukuczka). On 11 January 1986 Andrzej Czok died during the first winter ascent of Kangchenjunga. On 27 May 1989 Zygmunt Andrzej Heinrich was swept away by an avalanche on the NW slopes of Everest.
