Devil's Rock Garden
You'll find many surprises in central
Arizona. Once you get past sighting a band
of skittish javalinas (wild pigs), you may
come across some hedgehog cacti growing in
the rocks.
Most people consider this to be an arid
area, but I did see some moss and small
ferns growing in a major drainage on the
north side of Cypress Mountain.
