I would love to spend a winter adventure in Lapland doing dog sledding, sooner or later ... I love Northern Europe countries, I climbed in Norway during a couple of lucky trips, of course in the summer. Great TR Mark, my congrats!
Yes very worth making a visit - you would love it I'm sure! We only played at dog sledding - but a proper expedition would be quite something. I shall look out for your TR in future years!
In the meantime you should write about getting your Huskies up to the top of Monte Rosa! I can imagine that would make a fine and unusual TR on SP.

It was a part of the world I (we) had been wanting to see for over a decade and it didn't disappoint, even though it was on a 'package holiday'. The snow mobile trip was gruelling alright, but I wouldn't have missed it for the world! Yes, I was pleased with how the pictures came out - but they give just a hint of how it looked to be standing in the middle of nowhere, in winter, in Arctic Finland - and looking up at the Aurora Borealis!

A memorable tripSounds like you had a truly memorable time although, the 2 day snow mobile trip sounded pretty gruelling - pictures are great though!
