Located on the Swiss-Italian border, the Monte Rosa group is at the center of one of the most heavily glaciated areas in the Alps, making it an irresistible attraction for mountaineers. In addition to that, there are lots of 4000-ers in a small area, making it a popular with those that like to collect them.
This is a selection of photos from the summer of 2012, when we climbed Breithorn, Pollux, Castor, Corno Nero and Ludwigshöhe.
