Good work. Very striking peak, especially from Ritter's summit. Both Ritter and Banner seem like talus slogs for the last 1000 feet or so, but the glacier approaches are sure scenic.
An interesting double-climb is to do both Banner and Ritter from the saddle. Most people probably do Banner first, then Ritter's north face, then descend the Ritter glacier. But you probably knew that already. ;)
Where would be the easiest place to get a permit- Mammoth Ranger station? What is the reservation #? Thinking about doing this, Ritter, & SE face of Clyde Minaret in a long weekend- what do you think- good idea, or better to make a separate trip out of Clyde? (sorry for all the Qs!)
