Thanks for the comment. It is a special place.
Yes, IT is born, perfect shot.
Thanks for the comments. It was that kind of afternoon.
in your picture.
Thanks. I stayed later in the day than expected. But the light just gets better and better as the time passed. Must go back when there is snow. Cheers William
Another your "view to keep in mind"...
is now on my list of places to visit. Very nice shot William!
when i loaded the summitpost homepage, this shot immediately captured my attention!
great use of balance in the scenery
an absolutely beautiful picture...
Been working away and just checked in. Thanks for the compliments everyone. I can't believe the attention this image is getting. Figured it would just quietly add to the Birdwood page. I guess I will have to organize a SP outing to the area. Thanks and Cheers William
Your artist's eye is functioning very well !!! Thanks for sharing this one, it's beautiful !!!
William, I've got this shot from literally the same place. Notice the bent tree on the right. A similar day, as well, but you can tell that yours is later in the year. Burstall Pass is my favorite spot in the Canadian Rockies (thus far).
Yep the same spot. Good shot. Looking forward to seeing it in the winter. Cheers William
For me, one of the best five photo i've ever seen in SP. Wonderful in all the sense.
Thanks for the kind words. That is pretty high company you have placed me. Not sure I'm all that worthy. Thanks again and Cheers William
very nice shot, willam! cheers
Thanks and Cheers William
Has all the elements: subject, light, composition, feel etc. for a great shot.
Plus I love the Rockies!
Great shot, beutiful mountain. This one just made my desk top background.
Thank you. Sorry Just noticed the comment. Cheers William
Does the trail here lead down to Grindell? Love the vantage, also the opportunity to dream about these places. Should organize a trip soon--and move to accomplish it. Birdsong here appears so dominant, so ethereal..
