what a great shot! thanks for sharin' it!
Thanks for the comments guys, most appreciated. The photo was taken from a small hill up behind a friend's house. We'd been looking out of her kitchen window and watched the colours develop after the sun went down behind the mountains. I'm always so jealous of her when I look out of my flat window at the houses opposite, and think of the view she has every day!
What a horrible view, she has !
Congrats for the splendid shot.
I hope we get some evenings like that this winter
Shame I'm 600 miles away though, it takes one hell of a leap of faith to drive all that way based on a dodgy weather forecast! Mind you, it's never stopped me before and probably won't in the future.
What, there something WRONG with driving 600 miles for a sunset or other photo?
Thanks for sharing! Beautiful!
Oh I regularly do that drive. The trouble is that sunsets like that, or even good weather, don't come along very often. Still, for me Skye and the Cuillin are heaven on earth, so well worth the risk.
