Black pines on Konjuh mountain
Beautiful examples of European Black Pines (Pinus nigra), endemic type of tree in Europe. This tree is a moderately variable species of pine, occurring across southern Mediterranean Europe from Spain to the Crimea, in Asia Minor and on Cyprus. It is found at elevations ranging from sea level to 2.000 metres, most commonly from 250–1.600 metres.
The photo is made on Konjuh (1.328m) small mountain in central Bosnia.
