This page is an attempt to show the terrain of Borah Peak, the highest peak in Idaho. Each image from the animation below is also available in larger format (1014 x 712 pixels) by clicking on "orig" from the image's page. [ Image List ]




To create these images I used the freeware 3DEM and Digital Elevation Models available free for download at GIS Data Depot.

The imagery used is 2004 NAIP (National Agricultural Imagery Program) imagery which for Idaho is also freely available for download in MrSid format.
