Breitspitze summit log container

Lots of peaks in the Alps have a summit log, typically in some sort of a container like this. Often I don't bother to write something in it, but occasionally I do, especially if I'm on my own. That way, if something happens on the way down, I've left a clue for those that might come looking for me. On this beautiful summer day on the Breitspitze there was no need for that. I was hiking with friends, and there were lots of other people around as well, undoubtedly attracted by the fact that it's not a particularly difficult hike, rewarded by a breathtaking summit view down to Partenen. 26 July 2013.
