Very nice Ryan. It always amazes me how many Colorado mountains are named after other states. What, are we that desperate for names? Are we that insecure about our statehood? ;-)

No Joke! Lord knows the people of Colorado will never approve of a Texas Peak!

Good page due to the excellent photos. However, you are missing some things.

How long is the hike?

What is the elevation gain?

You should add that to the route page.

Excellent page Ryan, nice to see this one raised from the dead. A few years back M Downey submitted California Peak without ever laying foot on it. Needless to say, I had a cow. A few years later he made an interesting choice to ban himself from SP for going beserk and deleting all of his mountains, and California Peak was one of them. I went ahead and added a topo map, oh yea....total mileage and vertical gain would be nice. Later.

Thanks for the hints, that info has been added. Thanks also for the topo, its a great addition! I had been planning on adding this page for awhile now and just now had the time to do so.

Nice page, Ryan! It was great to meet you on those unnamed peaks south of Cali.

Its a pretty small world to be sure. Thanks for adding some pics too. It helped flesh out a somewhat meager page. Maybe if you have the time you could do a route description for the south route you guys followed on the way up. I'd do it, but I don't have the kindest words to say about it :)

I was thinking about it. Obviously not at the top of my priorities, but I'll get around to it :-D

Interesting mountain. I like your overview section. Now that the other Ryan has submitted his pictures you surely will attach them to the sections somewhere, won't you?

Great job, Ryan. Nice to have this mountain back on SP with great photos. Well written, too, and a nice collaborative effort from SP members.
