Pretty Teddy Bear Cholla (Opuntia bigelovii) Forest
photographed in Nelson area of Lake Mead, Nevada.
These cacti can grow up to 5 ft tall. The spines are silvery white. They usually reproduce from dropped stems. Thus the cacti that you can see here are very likely clones of each other.
