I took this photo during the approach to Arch Mountain. Phacelia crenulata is a very small wildflower. You will need to get very close to it to enjoy its beauty. Lake Mead Area, Arizona. February 2008.

Thanks Hiltrud. They were growing on the slope among some yellow poppies. It was a nice combination of yellow and purple.
