Climbed to the top probably 20-30 times in winter to ski tour the trees on the north and northeast side. Great option for a quick tour or when avy danger is high. Fantastic views for a low peak.
Once in the winter, once in the summer. Great viewpoint, but not really a mountain.
I've climbed this peak many times dating back to when I was a child. I've climbed it with parents, grandparents, with the scouts and with various other family members. The last time I climbed it may have been November 11, 1995(?).
I've been here twice that I remember. The last time involved finding one of MOCKBA's geocaches.
Joe and I tagged this on our way back from climbing Gobblers Knob and Mt Raymond. The summit has nice views of Big Cottonwood Canyon and in the winter you can then shortcut down to the TH.
Have climbed this peak as a short sidetrip on the way up to Raymond or Gobbler's
Hit this peak while on my way to not successful attempt to Mount Raymond. Weather and wind kept me from summitting.
Morning hike before work with Matt Van Horn. We were supposed to climb in LCC, but about halfway up the canyon we could see lightning strikes, so we decided to try BCC because it looked a lot clearer over there. We had to settle for something small in case we needed to bail because of the weather. Matt wanted to try a new route, so we started on the Butler Fk trail and after a few minutes took a trail on the left side that heads straight up the south face. The trail is steep and after about a half mile peters out and it is all bush from there. We decide it is a great route if you are in search of cannabis, make-out lairs, aspen sap or thick bush, but not the best for hiking. Made the summit and had a quick decent on the standard route back to Butler and made it to work on time.
We've got bush.
Some serious bushwacking through a ton of wildflowers and growth. Growing over my wife's head at some points. Good quick hike though!
nice views from top. good quick jaunt.
This is a pleasent hike any time of year. I've done it in the Summer after work, in the rain, during a heavy snow storm, and a few other times. A nice short hike to a destination.
I climb it multiple times a year.
Hiked several times from Butler Fork. My favorite time is during spring and winter.
Climbed this extremely easy hike on a Friday, In early beautiful summer--Jun 27 2008
Climbed This very easy peak again and this time it was cooler, rained a little bit, had some snow, and we saw an approaching storm. The storm, however, went over Gobblers Knob, Not Circle all Peak. We were the last ones to reach the trailhead--May 30, 2009
climbed it in 25 minutes....very fun peak to run up to
I stopped off at Circle All on my way back from Gobblers Knob. Nice views from up there.
