Fun route! The goat trail was not as bad as Edwards makes it seem, although a couple sections in the beginning were a little nerve wracking. We passed a group that had turned around because it was past their comfort zone. Take it with a grain of salt!

Goat trail in the sky
Amazing mountain! A hard toss up between Clements and the diagonal face route on Reynolds for my personal favorite so far. Did the entire route on the north face goat trail, then popped up to the ridge crest maybe just 50 feet from the summit.

A long time coming.
I've been meaning to do this one for a long time now. The smoke is a bay for now but I still ended up in the clouds for the majority of the climb lol. The route made up for the lack of a view; absolutely great fun.

Most fun I've had on a peak in a while
w/ Maddie, Harlan, Kasey, and Naomi. From the col between Cannon and Clements, there is nothing but fun to be had. Started on the south side, before switching to the north facing goat trail, which was the best part. Great, but relaxing exposure.
Ascended SW ridge after about a week of cold and snow showers. Lots of snow and ice from Bird Woman Pass to the summit - crampons and ice axe put to good use - made the goat trail on north face a little spicy. Super fun/energizing ascent for the 4th!

Eclipse
Wanted to watch the eclipse from a peak. Many others on tops of other peaks with the same idea. Was a gorgeous day for it. Met Lucy, a 13 year old girl who has climbed 34 peaks in Glacier so far....kewl

With Drew, Tyler and Terezie. Uninviting clouds turned us around the day prior. The next day brought beautiful blue skies. From here we made our way to Mt. Cannon.

Also did Oberlin & Cannon. After hiking up Oberlin Don A. & I went over to Clements and up the East Face Couloir. What awesome climbing! Totally loved it!

Very enjoyable route - loved the goat trail along the north face. Clear skies and only one other group on the mountain made for a fantastic day. Hurried down to Hidden Lake from the summit - I was swimming near the outlet exactly 1 hour and 17 minutes later! Had a great time completing one of Glacier's truly classic routes!

1996 with Tanya Spicker via the East Face Couloir with a traverse to the couloir from the south.
1980 with Paul Bishop & Jim Spearman via the East Face Couloir directly from the base.
1978 with Monica Spicker via the East Face Couloir directly from the base.
1970 with Bill Bishop via the East Face Couloir Route as per Edwards.
A great Glacier Park climb by any of the variations - but from the base up is the best.
