Do you know if it is possible to traverse from eagle cap to glacier peak without leaving the ridge?

Re: Traversing

It would be very difficult to closely follow and traverse the ridge on either side of the spires. The south side is loose broken rock and very steep. The north side (the snowy side - and it's permanent snow) is also very steep. It's a lot easier to simply drop down to the bowl and then climb back up on the other side. Of coarse, if one wanted the experience and adventure of climbing the seven spires along the way, what could be better!?

best regards,

Re: Traversing

Mr Clam has an excellent shot that shows the Northern traverse you'd have to make from Eagle Cap to Glacier Peak here:
